I have been in the industry for over a decade now, and have loved every single minute of it. I like to think I have a diverse portfolio, but it obviously shows I have an eye for automotive and sports content. 

  I am a seasoned professional, I have worked on all sorts of film and commercial sets in many different roles, including Director of Photography, Editor, Colorist and Producer. 

  I put my heart and soul into everything I create, I do the absolute best I can do, going above and beyond of what is expected to do everything right the first time. That is just who I am. I am a constant learner, I am always researching the profession and bettering myself as a filmmaker.

  I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a focus in Digital Film Production from the Art Institute of Houston with a graduating GPA of 3.7, Graduated in May of 2015.

Education Philosophy

My approach to teaching media has never been about simply following a textbook. I believe the best way to prepare students for careers in film, video, broadcast, and production is to teach them how the industry actually works.

As a media educator, I bring real-world experience directly into the classroom because I continue to actively work in the professional media industry. The techniques, workflows, expectations, and challenges I teach aren't just concepts I've studied—they're things I encounter on real productions.

During my teaching career, three films created by my students advanced to the UIL State Film Festival, including one that earned 2nd place in the 6A Narrative Film category. While I'm extremely proud of those accomplishments, I measure the success of my program by what students are able to do after they leave the classroom.

Today, eight of my former students are working full-time in the media industry, with one student being hired into a full-time media position immediately after graduating high school.

I also manage a motorsports media internship program working with Porsche Motorsport, giving students and young professionals the opportunity to work as camera operators in a real racing environment. Interns gain hands-on experience with professional production crews, live events, travel, deadlines, and the expectations that come with working in motorsports media.

My teaching philosophy is simple: students learn media by making media.

That means putting cameras in their hands, giving them real responsibilities, allowing them to make mistakes, and teaching them how to solve the same problems they'll encounter on professional productions. I focus on storytelling, cinematography, editing, production, teamwork, professionalism, and understanding what it actually takes to turn creative skills into a career.

The goal isn't just to help students make great films while they're in school. It's to give them the experience, confidence, portfolio, and professional expectations they need to continue working in the industry long after they leave my classroom.
